MY APPROACH
I’m a creative problem solver, strategic planner and endlessly curious. When I solve a problem I imagine all possible approaches to a solution then apply research, design, and feedback to arrive at a resolution. I believe that all good design is grounded in research and a deep understanding of user needs. I believe we have the power to change the world for the better with responsible, intelligent, and fun design solutions.
I have refined my process over time while learning new ways to empathize and engage with customers. I strive to go beyond my own preconceived notions to understand others before I begin to solve their needs. I am passionate about providing meaningful experiences that are valuable to the user.

For the past decade, I’ve lived and worked everywhere (seriously) along the Front Range before making my way to Denver. I grew up in a tiny town of 600 in Northeastern Kansas and moved to Colorado after graduating from McPherson College. I hold a BA in Graphic Design & Studio Art as well as a few volleyball records. I’m a recovering perfectionist and have learned (mostly the hard way) to embrace failure and use it as a tool to learn and evolve. I want to help people and I've found that design & user experience play to my strengths of empathy, logic, and problem solving.
I'm happiest when I’m breathing in the fresh mountain air while camping & hiking or when I’m snuggled up with my cats reading a good book . I’m currently a UX designer at Health eCareers in Denver, CO.
